The SCA will be collecting non-perishable food items and unopened personal hygiene items to donate to the local food pantry.

Light Up the City Holiday Light Competition

SATURDAY OCTOBER 29th from 9am to Noon!
This is a FREE Community event open to children and families.
We encourage the kids to wear costumes and trick or treat in a safe environment!
Bags are provided at the start.
Concessions available for purchase from the Stanley Boyd FFA.
If you are a business or community organization that would like to have a trunk at the event. Please click HERE to register. This is a free for businesses to participate.

LIGHT UP THE CITY:
There are 23 residents and 18 businesses that have registered for this event! Each display will be lit up between the hours of 6-9pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday December 18-20th.
VOTING WILL HAPPEN IN TWO WAYS!
-A paper ballot listing all the addresses of participates will be available here on our Facebook page on Saturday morning OR you can pick one up at Soo Line Pavilion on Saturday December 18th between 3-7pm. After viewing all the displays the paper ballots can be returned to Soo Line Pavilion until 7pm on Saturday or can be dropped off at City Hall on Monday or Tuesday during normal business hours!
-Online Voting will take place here on Facebook-each resident or business will have a picture/short video of their display--to vote for your favorite simply click "Like" to cast your vote!
SNOWMAN SHUFFLE:
There will be 10 riddles to solve that will lead to each part of Mr. Snowman that has been scattered around town! The riddles will be made available on our Facebook page Saturday morning! When you find a piece of the snowman--PLEASE LEAVE IT WHERE YOU FOUND IT--but snap a picture or a selfie with it and upload it to our Facebook page! Each picture you upload is an entry into a drawing for some pretty great prizes! 3 prizes will be given out--the more entries the better your chance to win! This event will be open to the public anytime on Saturday, Sunday and Monday--so get out and help find Mr. Snowman!

Deck the Halls-DIY Studio will be offering a walk in crafts 3:30-5:30 for your any age and budget!
Also take a drive throughout the Chapman Park camp ground to look at the beautiful lights put up by students from Stanley Boyd Middle and High School.
Stanley Movie Theater will be hosting a free movie with Santa "Boss Baby-Family Business" at 10:30 & 1:30 (first come first serve)
