How to Donate
Are you interested in supporting our splash pad project and inclusive play space project? Donors have many ways to help contribute.
The Stanley Community Association holds a 501c3 tax exempt status; meaning all gifts contributed to this project are tax deductible. Most charitable gifts qualify for maximum tax advantage under federal law. The three primary donation methods are through check, online, and cash.
Ways to Give:
Check
When writing a check, please make it out to Stanley Community Association. In the memo line indicate "Play Big, Dream Bigger Fund." If you wish to make a donation in person you can drop it off directly to Forward Bank-Stanley. Indicate that the donation is for the Stanley Community Association's playground fund at time of deposit.

1. How much will this project cost?
The cost to fund this entire project will be one million dollars. This will be collected from grants, private donations raised through the capital campaign.
2. How much is upkeep on the splash pad & will it increase my water bill?
Annual upkeep fees will be approximately $5,000 including city employee to test the water samples twice a day during use and upkeep on the equipment. There will not be an increase in the water bills due to this project.
3. What is the timeline for the upgrades and the capital campaign?
The project will be designed and constructed within a 24 month-period with a goal of keeping the existing facilities at the park as operational as possible during the development period.
4. Who is being asked to contribute?
To meet our goal, we need everyone's support. This is a community wide campaign that includes Stanley and the communities that use the park. We are asking individuals, businesses, foundations and organizations throughout the park's entire service area to get involved in supporting the campaign.
5. How much am I expected to give?
We need gifts at a variety of dollar levels to reach our goal. Please make your gift a thoughtful, substantial commitment for you, your family, your business and or your organization. Every gift, regardless of dollar amount, will be recognized in a dignified and appreciative manner. Gifts can be made of a dollar amount or in-kind gifts such as donation of materials to complete the project.
5. Are there donor recognition opportunities?
Yes. There are many appealing donor recognition opportunities available. A complete, detailed list of giving opportunities is included in this campaign materials. Contact the SCA at [email protected].
6. How is the campaign organized, and who leads it?
The campaign is being championed by a Capital Campaign Committee consisting of community leaders and local volunteers. The campaign is working under the guidance of Baker Street Consulting Group, a highly experienced Wisconsin-Based fundraising consulting firm.
7. Can I make a pledge?
Yes. However we ask that our donors strongly consider making an outright gift so we have funds before the project completions. Our campaign's success depends on gifts of all sizes and types in order to fund this project. But to ensure success, please consider making an initial pledge payment of at least 50% of your pledge amount.
8. Are gifts to this campaign tax deductible?
Yes. All campaign gifts are managed by the Stanley Community Association. Certain types of gifts such as stocks can also be set up through the Chippewa Community Foundation to be part of this campaign. The SCA is a 501c3 non-profit and all donations are tax deductible. A receipt is available upon request. Gifts to the the campaign are tax deductible as prescribed by law.
