Snow Angel Project

The Snow Angel Project is a heartwarming community-driven initiative aimed at fostering kindness, support, and inclusivity during the challenging winter season. Recognizing that snow and ice can pose serious difficulties—especially for seniors, individuals with mobility challenges, and those unable to shovel their driveways or sidewalks—the project invites residents in need to display a 'Snow Angel' sign outside their homes. This sign serves as a call for help, signaling to nearby volunteers and neighbors that assistance with shoveling is needed.
By participating, community members become ‘Snow Angels,’ contributing their time and effort to ensure pathways remain clear and safe for everyone. Through simple acts of compassion, we not only help keep our streets accessible but also strengthen neighborhood bonds, creating a more caring, connected, and resilient community. The Snow Angel Project reminds us that small gestures of kindness can have a big impact, especially when we work together.

Signs can be printed by the resident and posted on their own or if you are unable to print a sign of your own and would like the Stanley Community Association to provide you with a sign please email [email protected] and we will get one either mailed or dropped off to the residence.
